Due to snow and ice creating hazardous driving conditions on roadways across Georgia today and the temperature not anticipated to rise above freezing in many parts of the state until around lunchtime tomorrow we are rescheduling the opening session of the Young Gamechangers project in Albany. Since many Young Gamechangers are coming to Albany from all around the state, we don’t want to put anyone in danger.
We did not take this decision lightly. The Albany-Dougherty County community has put forth a great deal of time and energy to plan, organize and prepare for your Opening Session and we are disappointed to have to reschedule. However, we look forward to showcasing the Albany community in two short weeks and know you will enjoy learning about the community and meeting with their leaders.
The new dates for the opening session in Albany are: Monday, January 29 and Tuesday, January 30.
