Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Jerrel is a proud Atlantan who returned in 2024 (after 10 years) for an exciting career move as a Policy Strategist at Google. He grew up in Clayton County where he attended high school before attending and graduating from Morehouse College with degrees in Political Science and Economics. He also holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University. Jerrel is a thought leader who champions public interest technology and social impact with robust professional experiences spanning the federal government (U.S. Department of State), Wall Street, and Big Tech. Jerrel excels in developing and implementing policies, managing global teams, and communications.
