Tavari Turner is an experienced non-profit executive who has a wealth of knowledge as it relates to Youth Development programs & services. He currently serves as a Senior Director of Strategic Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley where he oversees the Program Strategy and Grant Management Operations for the organization. In the past, he served at several Youth Development organizations and in different capacities in cities across the United States including Topeka, Kansas & Atlanta, Georgia.
Tavari is passionate about paving the way for young people and creating opportunities for exposure while increasing their ability to learn and grow into productive, caring, and responsible citizens. He is also an avid proponent of creating a more equitable and diverse workplace for employees. He currently holds a Bachelors of Arts in Education concentration in History, Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Masters in Public Administration and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In his spare time he enjoys reading, water sports, and traveling with family and friends to new places.
