Keona Swindler

Columbus, GA, born and raised, Keona recently joined the Grady Health Foundation team as Communications Manager. She is responsible for the execution of the Foundation’s communications needs to educate stakeholders and the community on Grady’s impact and mission of providing equitable healthcare for all. As a mission-driven and collaborative leader, she has over eight years of experience in communications and marketing for organizations across social services and healthcare industries, as well as the nonprofit sector. Previously, Keona led all fundraising, marketing, communications, and special events for Enrichment Services Program, an 11-county Community Action Agency. Before ESP, she worked at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, where she oversaw marketing & communications for the 376-bed hospital and its physician practices. Keona graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Sociology. She is involved in community organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, CSU Young Alumni Council, and Leadership Columbus (2022). She enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.
