Emily Sullens is a native of Habersham County and has worked as the Career Services Specialist at North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville, GA since October of 2021. Her goal is to promote technical education throughout the state and to help current students and alumni find meaningful career opportunities in the Northeast Georgia area. Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting degree from Brenau University and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. In addition to working for North Georgia Technical College, Emily also graduated from the college’s Accounting program in 2015 with her Associate’s of Applied Science degree, has served on the Alumni Board as their President for six years, has maintained an involvement with NGTC’s chapter of Georgia FBLA, and serves as an active member of GACE, the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers . Emily also worked over five years in the hospitality and private club industry and enjoys blending her business and top-notch customer service skills to better serve her community and state. When not working or participating in local events that promote the area, Emily enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and dancing. She is a member of the Hey Ya’ll Clogging team in Cornelia, GA and enjoys learning new steps and performing at local festivals and events.
