Kelsie Kruskol joined the Georgia Department of Economic Development as a Research Analyst in 2022. She currently assists the Global Commerce Division in responding to RFIs from communities, distributing incentives information, and providing data-driven analyses for stakeholders. Kelsie is also responsible for the State’s submissions to Conway Data, which helps determine the #1 State for Business. Since 2022, she is a member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association and looks forward to pursuing her CEcD certification.
Prior to working in Economic Development, Kelsie worked in Financial Services for Gwinnett County, in Public Utilities for Athens-Clarke County, and as a Graduate Research Assistant for the University of Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia, earning her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science as well as her Masters of Public Administration. Kelsie resides in Lawrenceville, GA with her partner and her dog. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking and spending time outside.
