Victor Aguilar, 23, a native from Riverdale, Georgia is one of the 45 Gamechangers selected for this class. A community advocate with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration serves as the youngest, first male, and Latino City Clerk for the City of Morrow. Victor Aguilar started his career with the City of Morrow in 2019 as an administrative assistant and worked his way up to working within many different city departments such as code enforcement officer and Sanitation Coordinator prior to being appointed City Clerk on July 1st, 2022. Prior to working with the City of Morrow he interned with the Georgia General Assembly and the Clayton County Police Department. He currently is working on obtaining his master’s certification as a Georgia Certified Clerk from the Georgia Clerks Education Institute of Government while also working to obtain his bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Georgia. Under the role of City Clerk, he serves as the official custodian of City Records, Elections Superintendent and Parliamentarian while also providing administrative duties to the City Manager and Mayor and Council.
