Since July 2020, Patrick has served as the Economic Development Liaison for Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) at the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), where he supports CTAE programs statewide by building business and industry and economic development partnerships at both the state and local levels. Prior to joining GaDOE, Patrick spent six years working in Career Development at North Georgia Technical College and has previous professional experience in both the public and private sectors. As a lifelong resident of Northeast Georgia, Patrick’s passion for community and workforce development has led him to serve in various local leadership roles. He currently serves as the Habersham County Library Board Chairman, sits on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia, supports the workforce development efforts of Partnership Habersham, and is a member of Rotary. In November after completing a two-year special election term, Patrick was re-elected to a four-year term as Councilman for his hometown of Mt. Airy. After earning degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, Patrick obtained his Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. Patrick is married to his wife of ten years, Katherine. They live, work, and play with their son and daughter in Habersham County, Georgia.
