Mitchell Snyder is married to Annalee Houston Snyder and recently became a father to their son Henry. He moved to Dalton, GA in 2020 and attends Christ Church Presbyterian and practices law at The Minor Firm, where he was elected Partner in 2022. He graduated from the University of Georgia, cum laude, in 2011, and from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, in 2014. Mitchell’s legal practice focuses on business disputes, commercial litigation, creditor rights, and probate litigation. He has tried over 50 cases to completion through bench trials and jury trials. In 2021 and 2022, Mitchell was selected as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in commercial litigation. He was selected by the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce as one of the Top Ten Young Professions to Watch (2019), graduated from Leadership Augusta, graduated from the State Bar’s Leadership Academy, serves on the Whitfield County Day Care Board, and serves as Northern District Representative for the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyer’s Division. Mitchell has published several articles in the State Bar’s Young Layer’s Division Review, including, Reducing Personal Liability While Serving on Nonprofit Boards, Affiliate Spotlight: Young Lawyers of Augusta, and COVID-19 and the Lawyer as a Healer of the Community. Mitchell enjoys running, playing tennis, and reading biographies of American Presidents.
