Georgia-born and raised, Chelsea Tucker recently joined the Georgia Power Community and Economic Development team as the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator where she supports Strategic Solutions, as well as the project managers, in this hybrid role. While managing the tool used to track the lifecycles of projects within GPC’s diverse, active portfolio, she also delivers robust reporting on job creation, capital investment, and other important economic development data to measure success and tell the right story. Chelsea has been a part of the Southern Company family for over 10 years. She began as an intern within the company’s Finance Department, and after becoming a full-time financial analyst with the company, moved her way from Competitive Intelligence to Financial Planning. She then made the jump over to Georgia Power in their Financial Planning department where she spent 5 years before joining the Community & Economic Development team. Chelsea Tucker is a graduate of the Georgia Institution of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and an M.B.A. in Finance. She resides in Decatur, GA with her husband and their two cats. She enjoys biking to brunch on the weekends.
