
Jeffrey Burke is the University of Georgia Archway Professional for Newton County. He earned a BA in Political Science and an MPA from Valdosta State University, where he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Administration degree. Jeffrey’s passion for public service began during a student outreach program in São Paulo, Brazil, where he saw firsthand the positive impact of grassroots initiatives. This experience inspired him to bring similar efforts to Georgia, fostering a deep appreciation for the state’s diverse communities and industries. Before joining the Archway Partnership, Jeffrey worked with UGA Extension and Georgia 4-H. Originally from Wrens, GA, he has lived in Athens, GA, since 2017. Jeffrey is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Georgia communities through collaboration, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to local development.
