After getting his foot in the door at Chick-fil-A’s franchise level restaurant in Athens, GA, Alex joined the Chick-fil-A account team at Jackson Spalding. Today, he primarily works on the Norfolk Southern account team leading different bodies of work that include awards, executive visibility, media measurement and media relations. His overall skillset includes public relations, public affairs, reputation and issues management and executive positioning. The Marietta, GA native graduated from his dream school, The University of Georgia in 2021, with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in History. He also earned a certificate in sports media. While at UGA, he worked several sports industry internships, including being a student assistant for the athletic department’s Office of Sports Communications. Alex has loved his six years in Athens and is an active member of Good Shepard Presbyterian Church.
