
Ashley Bailey is a Senior Communications Associate at the Georgia Municipal Association, the state’s only organization representing municipal governments. With a career spanning healthcare, local government, and education, Ashley has led communications and marketing strategies for organizations including West Georgia Technical College, Clinical Health Network for Transformation, the City of Newnan, Piedmont Healthcare and Tenet Healthcare. A passionate storyteller, Ashley thrives on building relationships and finding innovative ways to help leaders communicate and engage with stakeholders. Her work has earned recognition from Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL), 3CMA, PRSA Georgia and IABC. In 2022, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of West Georgia’s School of Communication and Film, and in 2020, she was named a Top Local Government Influencer by ELGL. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, paper crafting, exploring new places, studying presidencies and cheering on her UGA Dawgs. She lives in metro Atlanta with her husband, A.J., and daughter, Arielle.
