Ashlan Troutman Webb currently serves as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Covington with over ten years of experience serving local governmental entities of all sizes. She joined the Covington team in 2015 and is responsible for organizing, directing and reviewing treasury management, accounting, payroll and accounts payable processing, purchasing and warehouse management, and miscellaneous billing. Since being employed with the City of Covington, the Finance Department has applied for and received the Popular Annual Financial Reporting award first in 2017 and every year since. She holds a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia and an active Certified Public Accountant license through the Georgia State Board of Accountancy. She is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association and serves as the annual conference committee chair and active member of the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association where she plans and coordinates the annual conference for more than 350 professional attendees. Ashlan has also served as a councilperson for the City of Mansfield where she encouraged revitalization and beautification efforts of the city center. She is passionate about developing efficient processes with good controls and encouraging others to obtain their personal and professional goals. Ashlan is married to Covington fire Captain Adam Webb. They reside with their dog, Wookie, in Jasper County. In her free time, she enjoys working outside on pretty days, sewing, and vacationing to the beach.
