Amber Hefner is a resident of the Dalton-Whitfield Community, where she works as the Group & Sports Sales Manager for the Dalton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is responsible for identifying & processing Group sale leads for the Greater Dalton Area. Groups consist of Meeting Groups or Sports Groups with a focus on those generating the most economic impact as measured by lodging tax. In her spare time, she enjoys riding in her Jeep Wrangler through the mountains, and or watching her niece & nephew play sports. She loves the Beach, and Georgia Football! GO DAWGS! She grew up in Dalton, GA and Graduated from Northwest Whitfield High School where she was a Scholar-Athlete playing Softball, Basketball & Track. She later went on to play Collegiate softball at the College of Coastal Georgia, in Brunswick, GA, where she ended up living for 10 years, before moving back home to Dalton. Amber feels privileged to be able to come back to my hometown & sell our area to incoming Groups looking to host their events here. She is also a member of the 2020 Leadership Dalton-Whitfield.
