Born and raised in northeast Georgia (just far enough outside of Athens to be surrounded by farmland but close enough for regular concerts in town), Mercy completed her undergraduate degree with a focus on experiential learning at The University of Georgia while also performing as a member of the Redcoat Band Flagline. Mercy also holds a Master of Public Administration degree and a certificate in Non-Profit Management and has served in local government and community development in both her personal and professional life. She currently serves as Snellville’s Assistant City Manager. Mercy is a cyclist, dancer, and explorer and lives and volunteers in Atlanta with her senior corgi pup Honey, who loves connecting with neighbors equally as much as Mercy.
