Amanda McManus serves as the Administrative Coordinator for GeorgiaForward and the Georgia Cities Foundation, affiliates of the Georgia Municipal Association. In this role, she provides administrative and programmatic support for initiatives that strengthen local communities, cultivate civic leadership, and promote collaboration across Georgia. Before joining GMA, Amanda worked in public education, where she developed creative and engaging lessons that encouraged student problem-solving and academic growth. Her background in education and nonprofit work has fostered a passion for strategic coordination, civic engagement, and community development. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership from Georgia State University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and practicing embroidery.
