Curtis Coates III is a community-focused leader with experience spanning military service and civic recreation management. Serving in the U.S. Army as an automated logistics specialist, recruiter, and retention officer, he developed strong skills in operations, leadership, and team development. Following military service, Curtis Coates III worked as Program Director for the Dublin–Laurens County Recreation Authority and now as Director of Leisure Services for the City of Perry, designing initiatives that enhance quality of life, foster community engagement, and create spaces for connection and play. Passionate about building vibrant, inclusive communities, he seeks to contribute visionary ideas and practical solutions to improve work-life balance and recreational opportunities for residents.
