D.J. Myers thrives at the intersection of government, business, and politics. Beginning his career working on a Congressional race, D.J. developed his passion for politics and appreciation for the State of Georgia. After working through several campaign cycles and in the Georgia State Legislature as a Chief of Staff, D.J. now plays a vital role in shaping policy and driving impactful initiatives across the region as Director of State & Local Government at Ohio River South. In addition to his role at ORS, D.J, is a member of the LEAD Atlanta class of 2025 and a 2024 Outstanding Atlanta honoree. He sits on the boards of the Council for Quality Growth’s Emerging Leaders Initiative, New Leaders Council Atlanta, Advance Atlanta, and was appointed to the City of Atlanta’s License Review Board. D.J. is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.
