Jeremy Daniel serves as the Assistant to the Director for Strategic Initiatives at the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, where he provides counsel and recommendations concerning strategic direction, organizational improvement, and performance management. In close coordination with the Director, Jeremy plays a hands-on role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of organizational and management processes that guide and integrate the various efforts of the divisions into a more meaningful and productive enterprise. These activities include internal evaluation, strategic and operational planning, management tools, performance tracking, process improvement, and reporting. Also, Jeremy provides governance and operational leadership for the institute’s portfolio management system. Jeremy is actively engaged in the local community by serving as a Clarke County Mentor Program mentor/Board member, an Athens REACH Scholarship Advisory Board member, and a Trail Life adult leader. Jeremy is a graduate of the Leadership Georgia class of 2023.
