Sarah Andrews grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended Texas Tech University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in accounting and earned her Master’s in Taxation. She earned her CPA license while working for the Dealership group of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, the largest certified public accounting firm headquartered in the South. After starting a family, she left public accounting for a career in local government finance. She worked for the City of Granbury, Texas, for three years before moving to Villa Rica, Georgia. Since 2015, she has worked for that city as the Chief Financial Officer and was promoted in 2021 to Deputy City Manager.
