Alexandria Sanford earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development at the University of Georgia in 2016, graduating with Cum Laud honors. She recently graduated from Georgia College and State University with her Master of Public Administration in August of 2021. Currently, she works as a Grant Officer for Highland Rivers Behavioral Health and manages two grant projects while vetting grant opportunities throughout the year for future funding. She has spent her career helping others through her dedication to the public sector in nonprofit and volunteer service. Her focus on program and grant management has concentrated on areas of education, health, and behavioral health services. Her passion lies in ethical, transparent, and innovative approaches within public sector administration. She is a proud AmeriCorps VISTA Alum and continues to approach her career with the same helping spirit. Her career in the nonprofit sector serves as a commitment to the welfare of others and the greater importance of the sector contributes to society. Alexandria Sanford grew up in Dalton, GA, where she still resides with her husband Tim and dog Buddy.
