Cory-Lynn Thurston joined the Madison County Chamber of Commerce team in April of 2023 as the Director of Operations and Member Relations. Before coming to the Madison County Chamber, she was a Community and Legal Advocate with Project Safe, an Athens based non-profit that works with survivors of domestic violence. Cory-Lynn graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 with Bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She has actively participated in advocacy opportunities through current and past career experiences, as well as, through volunteer work with Best Buddies and Special Olympic at UGA. Cory-Lynn served as an Executive Board member of the Madison Area Resource Team (M.A.R.T) – A Family Connection Collaborative. Above all, she is interested in serving others, and being part of a growing and thriving Madison County. Cory-Lynn, a native of Jackson, Georgia, and her husband, Thorne, currently reside in Madison County.
