Urie Register

Urie Register is a native of Valdosta, GA, and a proud graduate of Mercer University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Leadership. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Urie recently accepted a new role as the Workforce Development Programs Manager with the South Georgia Regional Commission, where she leads workforce development initiatives across Southern Georgia. In this role, she focuses on creating and managing programs that enhance the skills and employability of the region’s workforce. Prior to joining the South Georgia Regional Commission, Urie worked as a Professional Development Manager for Coastal Plain Area EOA. She has a strong background in professional development and is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential. An active member of the Valdosta Rotary Impact Club, Urie enjoys volunteering and being involved in her community. She selflessly gives back at every opportunity. In her free time, Urie is a big sports fan and enjoys spending time with family
