Nic Laconico, a Macon, GA native, currently resides in Athens, GA. He has a degree in Business Administration from Georgia Tech, a master’s degree in education from UGA, and is currently pursuing his MBA at Georgia Tech. He has spent his entire professional career at the University of Georgia in roles supporting students through academic advising, career counseling, undergraduate admissions, and new student orientation. He now serves as the associate director for business engagement focusing on broadscale industry engagement events, professional development opportunities for the innovation ecosystem, and identifying and evaluating prospects for corporate partnerships. In his free time, Nic likes to workout at F45 West Athens, binge watch seasons of Survivor and Big Brother, as well as spend time with his dog, Doddie Ru, and his wife, Megan.
