My name is Madison Krilla, and I was recently promoted to Recreation Superintendent after serving as the Marketing and Advertising Coordinator at Douglas County Parks and Recreation for the past two years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communications from Auburn University and have developed a deep passion for recreation, community engagement, and creative outreach. During my time in marketing, I led efforts to enhance our department’s visibility by managing social media, creating innovative campaigns, and launching a new brand that reflects our community’s values. I am dedicated to building meaningful connections and elevating the programs and events we offer. Recreation plays a vital role in Douglas County, providing opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors to stay active, build relationships, and engage with their community. I am committed to expanding these opportunities and ensuring that everyone has access to programs that enrich their lives. As a young professional, I am always seeking opportunities for growth and leadership. I have participated in several leadership programs and look forward to continuing to develop both personally and professionally.
