Her academic journey has been shaped by a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2017 and a master’s in public administration in 2019 from Valdosta State University. She is also involved in the community through her profession and her membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Alexus serves as a student Career Counselor at Valdosta State University. Her passion for helping others is a core part of her personal and professional identity and is highly reflected in all she does. In her free time, Alexus is a debut author who enjoys exploring new places and experiences through traveling, reading, writing, and trying new foods. She is always open to new perspectives and ideas that may serve as a way for her to maintain balance and find inspiration outside of her professional role.
